Level monitor KM 22 can be used for dry running protection in wells as well as for level control in tanks, ponds etc. Electrodes in the monitor sense the water level. Consequently, very accurate control is performed even intight spaces such as in bored wells.
The monitor cannot be used when there is fat in the water since the electrodes then become isolated. When the level monitor is used for dry running protection, the pump starts when the water level reaches the upper electrode and runs until it falls below the lower electrode. The pump restarts when the water level reaches the upper electrode. The opposite occurs when the monitor is used for filling purposes.
